Life (Reel Vs Real)

"Will this angle be okay? Wait I should strike another pose. I want my timeline to be the best."
These sentences are so used to nowadays.
The life of social media users revolves around posts, likes, followers, comments and on some higher grounds - engagements and retweets.
Nevertheless, however arduous the real life is, the reel has to be precise. The number of followers one has formulates one's class and status. Teenagers tend to follow them to become trendy in their knowledge.

Everything has to be perfect. Even the timings, lapses and videos. One wants to become the epitome of perfection and prestige leaving behind the actual sense and certainty in real life. In this whole process of showing the stunning sides of things, people have neglected to enjoy and live life at the moment. Every site, cuisine, sprout, stream and list is endless, has become picturesque mere for the feeds of social media and profiles. The places meant for meditative purposes have a crowd from all over the planet who has forgotten the intent to be there. The best of the flavourful dishes from around the globe are not for the taste of the tongue but a decent and delicious picture.
Life-threatening incidents for the sake of publicity is not new and every day new milestones are being created in this no-scope field. Many of the tasks and challenges have proved to be fatal. For example, firing guns for the sake of making videos, jumping from high rocks and spread of hatred in the name of religion, caste, colour etc. which has led to riots around the world.

In the heed of posting that one flawless photo, using several filters and applications one forgets the beauty in oneself and that there prevails beauty in that unfiltered picture because it is real and not pretentious. Also, there are flaws and weaknesses in each one of us which need to be accepted. Every moment is elegant and each part of nature needs to be rejoiced to create a memory for a lifetime. Every morsel of food needs to be savoured to have the best of it.
In brief, actual life is far delightful than the one we see in posts. We simply need to live it in tiny moments and celebrate every bit of it. Technology for sure is extremely important but dwelling in it and forgetting the world is not.

When Time Slips Through

All these men walking faster along the way, To spend those few extra moments of the day. Here I sit in solitude Silent, unloved,  uncherishe...
